Condition
Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly cooler in the original. Condition: This work is in good condition. The canvas is slightly slack and there is canvas draw to the upper left hand corner. There are some dents in places throughout. Close inspection reveals some tension cracks with associated losses to all four extreme edges and some wear with associated fraying to all four corner tips. Further close inspection reveals drying cracks in isolated places throughout, some of which have spots of loss most noteably towards the lower centre of the right edge, as visible in the catalogue illustration. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light.
