All surface irregularities, tears, spots of lifting, fraying and media accretions are in keeping with the natural aging process of the work and the artist's choice of materials. Very close inspection reveals some very fine drying cracks and some tiny specks of loss in isolated places throughout, some of which have been readhered and do not fluoresce darkly under ultraviolet light.
