Condition
Colour: The colour in the catalogue illustration is fairly accurate. Condition: This work is in good condition. Close inspection reveals some historic pin and staple holes and historic stretcher bar marks to the two vertical edges, which relate to historic re-stretching. Extremely close inspection reveals a few short, faint scuffs and a minute dent to the lower register of the painting. Examination under ultra violet light reveals a small spot of inpainting towards the lower centre of the right hand edge.
