In-12 (162 x 83 mm). Veau brun, dos à nerfs orné de fers dorés (Reliure de l’époque).Rares rousseurs. Une charnière habilement restaurée. Tache sur le plat supérieur. Édition originale, ornée d’un fleuron de titre, d’une initiale et de culs-de-lampe gravés sur bois. Créée pour la première fois le 18 août 1674 à l’Orangerie de Versailles, à l'occasion des fêtes données par Louis XIV pour célébrer la conquête de la Franche-Comté, Iphigénie fut reçue avec succès. Elle ne fut donnée au public que six mois plus tard, en janvier 1675, au théâtre de l'Hôtel de Bourgogne.
