oak each scene engraved with a partially legible inscription one with four women driving a man out and the departure of a rider; the other with a banquet and again the departure of a rider  Together with another Netherlandish, 17th century, oak relief with a musician in a niche 

Condition

Both of the larger reliefs are made of two associated scenes apparently from the same ensemble (probably a chest or a cabinet) with a vertical joint visible in the centre. Non-active wood worming is visible, notably to the two larger panels. The carving with wear to the high points in some places, including the faces, and to the old flemish inscriptions partially legible. One of the larger relief with the lower edges slightly damaged due to wood worming and moisture.
