Condition
The alabaster has surface dirt and natural veining consistent with the material. There are a few restorations with a diagonal joint visible to his face running from the lower right side to the upper left side, and a smaller one from his proper right side to the left side on his chin and lips. A large diagonal break is visible to the upper part of his chest. There is a loss to the front of the truncation of the bust and the pendant hanging from his chain is partly missing. There are a few chips along the edges of his hat and along the lower edge of the truncation of the bust. There is a repair visible to the back of his hat and another one to the back, with a joint visible running from one shoulder to the other. The alabaster socle with a large loss to the lower right corner, and the right front corner has been reattached.
