The photograph is quite accurate. The model is almost complete. Six cannons are missing. The fabric sails are a little yellowish. The silk fleur de lys flags are partly torn and with holes. Very nice model.

Built in 1669, the Soleil Royal was the admiralty ship of Maréchal de Tourville and was sunk off Cherbourg coast in 1692, during the Nine Years' War.
