Condition
This work is in good overall condition and ready to hang. The canvas is unlined and appears to be on its original stretcher. Ultra-violet light reveals scattered small retouchings, primarily in the background and the fauteuil; apart from some spots in her hair and along her back, the figure is essentially untouched. The catalogue illustration is fairly accurate, however the colours are slightly less yellow overall in reality.
