The velvet upholstered base is modern and in good overall condition, consistent with gentle use. There are a few instances of light wear to the velvet, some light scuffs and a few stains. One seat presents with two circular marks of approximately 8 cm of diameter. Another seat presents with two vertical stains. The carved group presents with mulitples cracks, multiples chips of paint revealing various layers of paint underneath, a few scattered chips of wood and numerous previous restored elements (previously broken elements that have been glued back together, some of them have been poorly restored).
