拍品資料及來源

Hulceux's painting is an eminently mental act, never limited by time or exhaustion. The more he works on the precise recreation of a subject, of an extremely detailed image, the more it escapes him in its essential possibility to be captured or perfectly finished and resolved. As the artist confesses himself, he wished he could never stop. Continuing, expanding the cold and visionary penetration of the image. It requires huge manual work, up to the point that the painting seems like the gigantic enlargement of a snapshot.
