According to Arturo Schwarz, the present recording of texts was made at an amusement booth around 1950. It is an extraordinary anthology of the texts Duchamp thought most meaningful and includes the full text of Morceaux Moisis / Written Wrotten of 1940; aphorisms and puns from the first postcard in Rendez-vous du Dimanche 6 février, 1916; and Notes 98, 99 and 97 and excerpts from Notes 36 and 124 in Notes and Projects published in Mariée Mise à Nu par ses Célibataires Même / The Green Box of 1934.

These recordings are sold as is, in their current state of conservation. Any sound copyrights remain the property of the Estate of Marcel Duchamp and will not be transferred to the purchaser.
