Petit in-8 (178 x 123 mm). Maroquin rouge, triple filet en encadrement, dos à nerfs orné, dentelle intérieure, tranches dorées (Canape R.D.).Charnière endommagée, restaurations. Papier uniformément jauni. Titre et 12 planches gravées (environ 140 x 87 mm), mises au format. Après la première émission qui ne comportait de 7 planches et le titre, ont été ajoutées 4 planches qui avaient été publiées avec les Figures françoises et comiques. Le titre est à l’adresse de Thomassin, comme le sont les 1er et 2e états. Rarissime suite d'eaux-fortes de Watteau, peut-être incité à graver par son maître Claude Gillot. Provenance : étiquette de la "Brooklyn Public Library", et mention d’un achat suite au don Loftis Wood en 1885. Numéro d'inventaire dans la marge inférieure du titre.
