Grand in-4 (272 x 220 mm). Maroquin rouge à long grain, large encadrement de roulettes et de filets dorés, dos à nerfs orné d'urnes, fleurons et roulette dorés, tranches dorées (Bisiaux, avec son étiquette).Mors frottés, petite épidermure restaurée. Belle reliure de Bisiaux, réalisée entre 1777 et 1783. Édition originale illustrée de 160 figures (costumes et armures, meubles, etc.), sur 51 planches hors texte, gravées par Pitre Martenasie montrant. Provenance : Sir David Lionel Goldsmid-Stern-Salomons (ex-libris armorié). Référence : Colas, I, 1828.
