The prose text above the image is from Akhlaq-e Jalali by Jal al-Din Davani (d.1505-06), popular in India. The text below the image is likely to be the abridged Persian text of Kitab-e Kubra on philosophy, and in the middle are verses from Sa’di’s Bustan.
In good condition, the album page has been cropped and the painting has been backed on a cardboard, minor flaking and holes, minor smudges which do not affect the portrait, folds and occasional rubbing to the corners, as viewed.
