Arabic manuscript on paper, 256 leaves plus 6 fly-leaves, 17 lines to the page written in black naskh, ruled in polychrome and gold, verses separated by gold pointed dots, surah headings in red thuluth against a gold ground, opening double page frontispiece decorated with floral gold and polychrome interlace, in brown stamped leather binding

相關資料

The colophon states that this Qur'an was copied by "the order of the most exalted" by Ahmad al-Nayrizi in 1119 AH/1707-08 AD and that this was the eighteenth he has copied. A later nineteenth century note at the end of the manuscript states that this Qur’an belonged to Husayn ‘Ali Khan, the grand father of the writer of the note, who is passing it on to a certain Mirza Ahmad Khan.
