both composed of polychrome enamels, the smaller featuring a seated portrait of Fath 'Ali Shah with inscriptive cartouche, set in a gold pendant with seed pearl fringe and later necklace, the other oval enamelled plaque with a portrait of Muzaffar al-Din Shah, plain enamel to reverse

Condition

The smaller pendant in good condition, enamels bright, the surface with little pricks missing gold paint, later set in pendant and necklace chain; the larger with minor retouching to enamel at the top (including some overpainting), part of enamel on reverse missing and discolored, as viewed.
