A large Ottoman embroidered bohça or turban cover, Turkey, late 17th/18th century
comprised of three joined vertical panels, worked with overall design of stylised palmettes in red, blue, beige, yellow, green and brown on a cream linen ground, within a four sided border with same motifs, mounted on later stretcher 
152.5 by 142cm.
