拍品資料及來源

This fine landscape on a gold ground is typical of the end of the sixteenth century/beginning seventeenth century Bijapur. The rocky mountains recall those in a painting of a Yogini playing a tambur, now in the Museum für Islamische Kunst, Berlin (published in Zebrowski 1983, p.119) and another Yogini, attributed to the Dublin painter (ibid, p.108). The tall trees on the background can be compared to those found in another painting, of A Maiden Leading a Gazelle (published in ibid, p.113).
