This work appears to be in good overall condition. There are a few superficial scratches and traces of dirt along the borders and by the corners of some prints.

L'opera è costituita da una sequenza fotografica che fissa l'attimo provvisorio rappresentato da una palla di cannone in bilico su un tavolino, e deriva dalla foto dell’installazione Stanza della Provvisorietà proposta al castello di Portofino nel 1977 e rielaborata successivamente dall’artista attraverso quattro fotografie (1978).
E’ possibile accanto all’opera, costituita dalle quattro fotografie, riprodurre l’installazione individuando di volta in volta un tavolino e una palla di cannone in bilico su di esso.
