Condition

The terracotta is sound. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of retouching. There is an hairline line of craquelure ruuning vertically across the duck's face and a few further hairline lines of superficial craquelure to the black pigment. There is a minor paint loss to the lowest hole of the duck's proper right side and a further small dot of paint loss at the extreme rear of the duck. There is some light wear to the surface. This work is in overall good condition.
