Condition

The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. The colours are fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration, however it does not accurately convey the thickness of the impastos. Wear marks are located in each of the four corners. The impastos are slightly dusty. The left half of the canvas presents stabilized cracks in the white area.Cracks with upliftings are located in the black areas. Few hairline cracks are located in the pink area in the lower half of the canvas, close to the center and in a smaller area near the right edge. The tips of some impastos present losses that are visible upon close inspection only. A small area of restoration is located on the red impasto along the lower edge. Under Ultra Violet Light inspection there is no further evidence of restoration. Please refer to the department to obtain a map of the above mentioned areas.
