Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. There are wear marks along the edges of the work. An important restoration has been executed on this work, please refer to the Contemporary Department (guillaume.mallecot@sothebys.com) for the restorer's report. Important restored diagonal cracks are visible from the upper edge crossing the canvas together with another important restored area in the lower right quadrant. Under Ultra Violet Light inspection, the restoration areas mentioned above fluoresce as long as the repaintings along these cracks and few repaintings along the upper edge.
