Condition
The colours in the printed catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although slightly lighter in the original work. The canvas is made from blue and white cotton fabric, which the Catalogue Raisonné refers to as "toile de matelas". The canvas is slightly loose. There are scattered networks of cracks throughout the composition visible under close inspection, which are most likely due to artist choice of medium. Cracks are most visible along the edges in general. This work is in original condition.
