Condition

The colours in the printed catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the orange and brown tones in the left half of the composition are not as vibrant in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. There are minor wears to the four corners visible under close inspection. Further very close inspection reveals tiny cracks that are visible along the upper edge and a minor chip in the paint in the lower right corner along the lower edge.Under Ultra Violet Light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. This work is in very good condition.

Ce que j’aime, c’est agir sur la toile. Agir ? C’est gratter, déchirer, tacher, envahir la toile de couleurs, bref tout ce qui n’est pas "peindre."
What I really enjoy is taking action on the canvas. Taking action ? It means to scratch, tear, stain, invade the canvas with colour, in short, it is anything that is not "painting".
