modeled as an oblong wooden-hulled vessel with two gentleman seated at either end, painted in tones of puce, yellow, iron-red
Condition
Both figures have been broken through the waist and restored. The figure in the left of the illustration, both arms at the elbow, the lower part of his left leg restored. The other figure at the rear of the boat, his head re-stuck and both lower arms from elbow restored. Three restored rim chips to top edge of boat. Some restored chips to extremities of the applied rope. Glaze ware to underside. The piece could benefit from being cleaned.
