Château Latour 1996 Pauillac, 1er Cru Classéu. 12bn, damp-stained and cellar-soiled labels, scuffed capsulesLast tasted at a great Imperial dinner in Hong Kong in 2011. A lovely 'sweet' bouquet, almost 'floral', like the 2000. Very hedonistic. Under all the ripeness, there is terrific structure. Red fruits on the finish. Marvellous wine which wowed everyone.
