Condition

Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the enamel presents with deeper and richer green than visible in the catalogue illustration. The pewter surface with very minor fine scratches, light scattered pitting and tarnishing consistent with age and gentle handling. The clock face with a minute scratch measuring approximately 1 ½ inch long and not visually distracting. The recessed areas with some surface soiling concentrated to the numbers. The edge of the proper right panel with one faint indentation. Functionality of the movement is not guaranteed and it could need service at the buyer's discretion. A fine example from Knox with a beautifully executed and highly textured enameled surface.
