Condition

Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the burl wood presents with warm and rich amber-colored tones. The stool with light scratches and minor scuffing throughout, consistent with age and use. The seating area with an indentation measuring approximately 1/2 inch, as well as small area with crackling to the veneer measuring approximately 2 inches. The border edges with minor abrasions and light scratches consistent with age and gentle use. Two feet present with minor loss to wood veneer and areas of chipping measuring ¼ and ½ inches respectively, only visible upon close inspection. A rare example of Chareau's elegant and sculptural furniture.
