Condition

Overall in very good condition. The cabinet opens by four doors and is divided into two compartments, each with one adjustable green felt covered shelves (lacking brackets) that present with some very minor loss to the felt. The proper far right door is very slightly misaligned by approximately 1/4 inch when installed, which could be easily remedied with a small shim to the hinge. The metal surfaces throughout with occasional very minor abrasions, wear, and some occasional minute traces of white house paint, consistent with age and gentle use. The decoration with some minor losses to the lacquered steel, not visually distracting to the overall aesthetic of the cabinet doors and consistent with age. One of the decorative elements is missing three small edge guards, visible only upon close inspection and not visually or technically detractive. The decorative elements on the front of the cabinet with very minor imperfections and are inherent in the making, including slight separations between the welded steel elements, visible upon close inspection. The base and the slate top with some very light surface scratches consistent with gentle use. The complex and deeply sculptural work by Paul Evans with diverse decorations adorning the cabinet doors.
