Representation and description are of less interest to this artist that the use of colour to express reality as she sees it, and her own personality full of the love of life. Her brush appropriates the freedom to choose colour, and moves innocently, without worrying about the conventions and rules recognised by traditional art. Faces watch us, attentive, their eyes open in perpetual amazement. Bodies tell almost forgotten stories which Chaibia recretaes in each of her paintings.
