An early Anglo-Indian military album compiled by Major John D'Oyly Baring of the Bengal Infantry (107th foot), with his portrait (by "H.R.W.") at the front of the album and elsewhere in group photographs. The album contains many military groups of officers and soldiers, some with wives or families, and views in Darjeeling, Nainital ("Ny Nee Tal"), and Kanpur ("Cawnpoor").
