Overall very good condition. The glass with very few small air bubbles, inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The waist of the vase with one slightly larger air bubble inclusion which can be felt on the surface and is surrounded by an area of a very slightly darker shade of blue, only visible upon close inspection. The exterior of the vase is intensely iridized resulting in a beautifully variegated palette of jewel-tone cobalts and aquas with golden highlights. The interior is cased with white opaque glass to enhance the richness and depth of the blue tone on the exterior. The interior with some extremely minor traces of surface soiling. A particularly elegant form distinguished by its impressive scale, rich coloration and striking visual presence. Please feel welcome to contact the department for additional images of this vase.
