- 35cm., 13 3/4 in. high
of upright form with rectangular sections below a canopy top, the corners with columns and brightly enamelled cage work below vase finials, the metal-mounted dial, front, sides and back painted with mythological subjects in enamel, including Neptune and Diana, Actaeon and Europa and the bull, crowned by a nymph finial above the enamelled lid, with masks on each corner
Condition
small cracks to enamel on the reverse of the top immediately below the figure, losses to enamel and cracks above the dial, scratch and loss to enamel to the right side of the dial, the front enamel plaque loose along the wavy silver mount on the right, the back right column detached, front left vase and back right vase damaged, base of the front partially bent
