拍品資料及來源

Dissatisfied with the initial printing of the work in 1886 by Baxter of Oxford, Dodgson withdrew the edition and had it reprinted by Richard Clay of London in 1887. However, there was no need to reprint the envelope with the card and counters, thus the second edition is found with the card dated either 1886 or 1887.
