The calendar reform initiated by Sixtus IV, to which Regiomontanus had been appointed, is mentioned in the preface. This is one of numerous editions of the computus of Petrus Cracoviensis printed in the early sixteenth century, similar to the computus of Anianus. It was first printed under the title Computus Cracoviensis in Leipzig in c.1487-1488; for a later edition, see lot 509.
