拍品資料及來源

Rare: we have been unable to trace this in the standard bibliographies. "Paricius was a mathematician and writing master from Regensburg who is known primarily for his books on writing. However, this is a book on arithmetic that deals mainly with commercial calculations involving grain prices, profit and loss, money changing, etc." (Tomash & Williams).

Tomash & Williams describe this as two works, albeit one an extension of the other. However the second part ends with the catchword "Kurtz" (on Dd7) suggesting that they are intended as one. The pages at the end of part 2 are confused: Dd7 is followed by two duplicated leaves (pp.39-42, i.e. T6-7, from part 2), then an errata leaf.
