Second edition of Adams’ Geometrical and graphical essays, corrected and enlarged by William Jones. At the end is a priced list of instruments offered for sale by Jones, keyed to those shown in the plates. The frontispiece depicts Ramsden's "Great Theodolite"; it replaces Adams' 1791 frontispiece, which depicted a different theodolite, on a more complex mounting by Adams.
