The frame composed of red resin accented with black resin and rose-cut diamonds, suspending a fluted black resin cylindrical bead, the chain composed of alternating gold and black enamel links, further accented by black and red resin beads, dimensions 5¾ x 6¾ inches, signed Cartier Paris, numbered 2390, with French assay marks; circa 1925.
Condition
In good condition overall. The black and red resin beads and frame are semi-translucent. The red resin frame shows some minor cracking to the exterior near the clasp. The black links are gold applied with black enamel and some of the links exhibit minor damage and losses. The diamonds weigh approximately .50 carat and are near colorless and decorative in quality. With French assay mark for 18K gold. Dimensions measuring 5¾ x 6¾ inches. Silk bag may not be original.
