Condition

Pile ranges from areas near original closely sheared velvety pile in borders with most of central area worn low to knotheads; large 2 x 2 foot animal-stained area in field; a 10 x 10 inch area in left border glued on reverse; small slits along central vertical axis indicative of fragile, partially dry-rotted foundation; reselvaged; small slits and repaired slits along ends; dense, fine weave; good quality carpet; will enhance with careful cleaning and restoration. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance.
