Generally good condition overall; near original closely sheared pile with areas low to knotheads and with a few spots showing warps, minor scattered spot stains, will easily clean. Sides curling under due to density of weave. Selvages with slight fraying in areas. Ends missing outer guard stripes, now secured with a binding stitch. Sound fabric, dense weave---high quality carpet, lustrous wool, good, luminous color. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements. Please check with the Carpet department if you are uncertain as to whether a lot is subject to this restriction or if you need assistance.
