each piece monogrammed MS within a mantled shield, with gilt and blue enamel spearhead borders, comprising: a large oval tureen and cover, a large mazarine dish and drainer, a small oval sauce tureen and cover, a pair of sauce boats, a pair of leaf shaped dishes, a square bowl, eight oval platters and plates, a pair of deep dishes, thirty-five dinner plates, seventeen soup plates, seven small pudding plates and nine small side dishes. Together with: a part dinner service monogrammed WCT within a mantled shield, with gilt and blue enamel dogtooth border, comprising two rectangular vegetable dishes and a cover, a pierced basket and stand, a sauce boat, a leaf shaped dish, three oval basins, four oval platters and plates and eleven plates; a cylindrical mug monogrammed WSS and two plates monogrammed ETH, and a bottle vase monogrammed EW, 118 pieces

Condition

All in good condition except: Pieces with MS monogram- Large tureen cover with a small bruise chip. The mazarine dish with a minute rim chip. One sauce boat with fritting to the rim. The square bowl with some flaking to the blue enamels on the exterior. All oval platters with varying degrees of flaking to the blue enamels, and two with fritting to the rim. One deep dish with rim chips and one small associated hairline, the other broken into 3 pieces and glued back. 8 plates with small rim chips, 3 with one or more hairlines, 1 with rim chips and a hairline, 1 with a chip and a y-shaped hairline with a small section of loss. 1 soup plate with short glaze lines, 1 with small rim chips and 2 with a hairline. 5 pudding plates with rim chips and 1 with a rim chip and hairlines. 2 side dishes with rim chips, 1 with a hairline, 1 with loss to a section of the rim. Pieces with WCT monogram- The pierced basket with losses to both handles, a star crack to the base and a hairline extending from the rim down with associated small loss to the rim edge, the basket stand broken into several pieces and consolidated with staples. The sauce boat broken and stuck back. The leaf shaped dish with minor rim chips. The largest oval basin with a long hairline, the medium basin with a rim chip and the smallest with some flaking to the enamels. 1 oval plate with a star crack to the center. 3 plates with hairlines and 5 with rim chips and hairlines. Remaining: The mug with a rim chip. One plate with the ETH monogram in overall good condition, the other with 2 hairlines, and both with significant amounts of gilding rubbed on the rim. All pieces with minor nicks, surface wear and flaking to the blue enamel and gilding, and firing imperfections consistent with age and use.
