Condition

In reasonably good overall condition, with the usual assorted marks, scratches, nicks and patches to veneer commensurate with age and use. Three of the lower door panels with repaired vertical age splits caused by slight warping, but this does not prevent them from closing properly. Proper right side of one lower cabinet with a section of moulding approx. 6 in. long detached, but present. Very minor repairs and losses to dentillated carving. Interiors of upper cabinets altered, now electrified, with later hinges. Old repaired breaks to cresting and fretwork. Originally part of a larger set, as the upper rail of cabinets behind glazed doors is stamped III IV on one and V VI on the other. Locks stamped BRAMAH PATENT but key not present and upper doors do not always stay closed on their own, and could benefit from attention from a restorer or locksmith.
