of cylindrical form, rendered in relief with a scholar seated on a donkey with an attendant by his side, overlooking a pavilion sheltered amongst overhanging trees issuing from craggy mountains, the patina of a warm brown colour, the wood stand attached
Condition
The brushpot has several vertical hairline age cracks, a 15mm., restored rim chip, three small rim chips, a pinhole to the upper section of the carving, light staining.
