Apollo Postal Cover Collection
CONTAINS 10 ENVELOPES WITH 24 TOTAL ASTRONAUT SIGNATURES
All envelopes are 3 ½ by 6 ½ inches and consists of:

1) A First Day of Issue cover for the Apollo 8 “In the Beginning...“ 6-cent stamp. Postmarked on May 5, 1969 at Houston, TX. SIGNED by SCOTT CARPENTER, GORDON COOPER, D. K. SLAYTON, TOM STAFFORD, and JOE ALLEN.

2) A Heritage Apollo 10 red and black cachet postmarked on the Apollo 10 launch date of May 18, 1969 at the Kennedy Space Center, FL. SIGNED by TOM STAFFORD.

3) A color Apollo XII crew emblem cachet postmarked on the Apollo XII launch date of November 14, 1969 at Cape Canaveral, FL. SIGNED by the entire crew, CHARLES CONRAD, RICHARD GORDON, and ALAN BEAN.

4) A Swanson Space Craft cachet featuring space vehicles and Apollo XII flight information. Postmarked on November 14, 1969 at Cape Canaveral, FL. SIGNED by ALAN BEAN and CHARLES CONRAD plus by CARL A. SWANSON, the cover creator.

5) An Orbit Covers Apollo 12 cachet featuring flight images and events. Postmarked on the Apollo 12 lunar landing date of November 19, 1969 at Cape Canaveral, FL. SIGNED by the Lunar Module 6 astronauts of CHARLES CONRAD and ALAN BEAN.

6) An Apollo 12 Pacific U.S. Navy Recovery Force red rubber stamp cachet postmarked on the prime recovery ship USS Hornet on November 24, 1969. SIGNED by the entire Apollo 12 crew, ALAN BEAN, CHARLES CONRAD, and RICHARD GORDON.

7) An official NASA KSC blue rubber stamp cachet featuring the Apollo 15 crew emblem. Postmarked on the Apollo 15 launch date of July 26, 1971 at the Kennedy Space Center, FL. SIGNED by JIM IRWIN and AL WORDEN.

8) An official NASA Manned Spacecraft Center Stamp Club cover featuring a full color cachet of the Apollo 15 crew emblem. Postmarked on the lunar landing date of July 30, 1971 at Houston, TX. SIGNED by the entire Apollo 15 crew, DAVE SCOTT, AL WORDEN, and JIM IRWIN.

9) A light green emblem type, rubber stamp cachet which reads: “Apollo 15 leaves lunar orbit, Aug. 4, 1971.” Postmarked on August 4, 1971 at Cape Canaveral, FL. SIGNED by JIM IRWIN and AL WORDEN.

10) A color Apollo 16 crew emblem cachet postmarked on the Apollo 16 launch date of April 16, 1972 at the Kennedy Space Center, FL. SIGNED by Apollo 16 Command Module Pilot KEN MATTINGLY.
