Condition
The original canvas. There are a few areas of very fine craquelure, visible only upon close inspection and mainly in the centre and lower left of the composition. Otherwise the work is in very good original condition with a rich and textured paint surface. UV light inspection reveals no evidence of any retouching or restoration. Held in a decorative gilt and painted frame.
