The sheet has been laid on another sheet of paper and has discoloured in line with age. The left edge is perforated. There is a loss to the upper right corner, a couple of diagonal tears to the lower left edge and a diagonal tear to the centre of the top edge. There is a vertical strip of adhesive tape running along the right edge on the reverse and visible on the recto. There are few further adhesive tape patches on the reverse along the edges visible on the recto. There is a horizontal crease in the lower right quadrant. The surface is covered in a light layer of dirt with spots in places and there are handling marks along the edges. Held in a gilt wooden frame behind glass. Unexamined out of frame.
