Original canvas. There are frame abrasions along the edges with some minor associated paint loss. Pinholes are visible in all four corners. There are a few surface scratches with minor associated paint loss in the lower right corner, and a further scratch in the lower left corner. There are a few cracks in places, most notably to the impasto of the roof in the lower left. There is a light layer of surface dirt with spots of dirt in places. Inspection under UV light reveals a small area of retouching to the tin roof in the lower right as well as a few minor spots of retouching to the roof in the lower left quadrant. Held in a painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
