Condition
Original canvas which is slightly slack on the stretcher and is buckling in places. There are minor frame abrasions along the edges. There are minor cracks in places, most notably along the left edge. There are a few minor spots of paint loss to the top of the trees at the left edge. There is a further small fleck of paint loss above the shrubbery around the tree in the lower right. There is gold paint visible in the sky along the top edge. There is a light layer of surface dirt as well as a few flecks of dirt in places, notably to the sky. Inspection under UV light reveals no obvious signs of retouching. Held in a gold painted wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame.
