Overall measurements; 336cm across the top, 339cm across the bottom, 492cm the left hand side, 489cm the right hand side. Overall fair condition. Pile 1-2mm. Very fine quality carpet and pile always would have been closely clipped. There is a band of wear in the upper quarter of the field as is visible in the photograph and the pile is slightly lower in the middle of the field. Upper end with original flatwoven end finish. Lower end with original flatweave and fringes trimmed. Both ends stabilised. Some 'nicks' and losses. Original sidecords. Area of discolouration in lower left hand corner of border and up into field. The green border is an unusual feature
