Condition
148cm across the top, 147cm across the bottom, 198cm the right hand side, 200cm the left hand side. Pile generally low and down to knotbars with spot foundation visible, areas of higher pile in the border (especially bottom left corner) up to a maximum of 4mm. Some oxidisation to dark browns. Scattered areas of re-piling for example centre lower field, visible as a paler blue, and centre left edge - again visible as a paler blue. Original blue sidecords and with flatweaved fringed overlocked ends. Overlocking clearly visible top end. This would benefit from a professional clean. Good colour with unusual chequered guls and attractive well articulated and resolved border drawing.
